Tremosine

Tremosine (pronounced Treṃsine) lies on a natural terrace that towers above the high Lake Garda.
The name Tremosine does not indicate only one town, but a wide area, inside of the Park 'Alto Garda Bresciano', instituted in 1989. It is one of the widest town of the Province of Brescia.
The small hamlets, scattered in the plateau and in the deep valleys that characterize the area, are 18. Campione is the only hamlet that faces the Lake Garda.
The climate, thanks to the nearness to the lake, is mild in the winter and warm, but not sultry, in the summer. These conditions make possible the development of a typically Mediterranean vegetation. Tremosine, dipped in the nature, offers from the beach of Campione to the tops of Tremalzo all the varieties of typical landscapes of the Garda: a plateau on the lake that gives incomparable panoramas.
A small peninsula that faces on the crystalline water of the Benaco: this is the fascinating positioning of Campione del Garda, one of the most evocative views of the Coast of the Lemon Trees, hamlet of the town of Tremosine.
The history of Campione is the story of the life of a village with a strong industrial and commercial vocation. In the course of the centuries it saw phases of rise and decline, sharing the fates of the productive activities that have modeled the social and urban settlement. The most important activity today practiced in Campione is the nautical sport, and in particular the sailing, thanks to the favorable winds that blow in this area of the lake.
