| With Riva del Garda, Torbole garrisons the northern part of the Benaco as a frontier: it is here, in fact, than the travellers coming from the North of the Adige Valley have the first impact with the nature and the landscape of the lake. As many towns of the Garda, Torbole conserve its evocative little harbour; worthy of a visit, the Church of Sant'Andrea, risen in 1175 and restored during baroque age. In the inside, with a central nave and two lateral aisles, there is a beautiful wooden choir and a panel representing the martyrdom of the Saint. From the parvis it's possible to enjoy a magnificent sight on the lake until the stronghold of Manerba.
